Diogo Dalot admits Milan ‘made mistakes we don’t usually make’ in their 3-0 home defeat to Lille.
This was their first loss since March in all competition, and puts them second in the Europa League group.
“We are disappointed, we started well in possession and could’ve been a little more concentrated on the ball, but we made mistakes that we don’t usually make. The scoreline is too heavy,” Dalot told Sky Sport Italia.
“We prepared well for this game and felt confident, but unfortunately anything can happen in football. Now we need to recover and react straight away.
“The coach tells us to give our all, and we did try, but conceded goals we don’t usually let in. We could’ve been more aggressive and we’ll try to rectify that from the next match.”
