Fiorentina have announced Jose Callejon has been quarantined after testing positive for coronavirus.
Another case has been discovered in Serie A, this time it’s the Viola winger, who moved to the Artemio Franchi as a free agent after his contract at Napoli expired during the summer.
The player is asymptomatic and already in isolation as per protocol, the club confirmed in a statement.
“ACF Fiorentina announce that a positive case of coronavirus was found during the preventive tests,” the club wrote.

“The Fiorentina team group will now enter a bubble and will continue to follow the entire procedure provided for by the health protocols.”
Fiorentina are preparing to play Parma at the Ennio Tardini tomorrow and must therefore cope without the winger.
