Fiorentina are reportedly considering a return of Brazilian striker Pedro while Arek Milik and Krzysztof Piątek remain on La Viola’s radars.
The 23-year-old Brazilian striker is on loan at Flamengo until the end of December.
His current club can make his move permanent for €12m but Fiorentina have an option to re-sign the player if Flamengo decide to buy him permanently.
Pedro scored 18 goals in 36 appearances with Flamengo last season.
The Tuscans have just appointed Cesare Prandelli as their interim coach and the club will be looking to signing a new striker in the January transfer window.
According toTuttosport, Piatek texted Prandelli when he was appointed Fiorentina coach earlier this week.
The Italian coached Piatek at Genoa in 2018 with the striker who scored three goals during Prandelli’s five games in charge of the club.
Arek Milik remains a target of Fiorentina even if the Poland turned down La Viola in the summer.
