Inter are reportedly interested in signing Liverpool’s Georginio Wijnaldum as a free agent at the end of the season.
The 30-year-old will see his Liverpool contract expire in June 2021.
According to reports in England, Liverpool have already offered the former Newcastle man a contract extension and Jurgen Klopp wants him to stay at Anfield Road.
As per Calciomercato.com, however, the player is willing to begin a new chapter of his career abroad.
The player hasn’t taken a final decision about his future yet, but at the moment he is tempted to leave England at the end of the season with Barcelona who are also reportedly interested in securing his services.
Inter may make a move to sign Wijnaldum as a free agent as the club’s CEO Beppe Marotta is an admirer of the Dutch international and is reported to have already enquired about the player's availability.
A move for the 30-year-old would be even more likely if the Biscione manage to sell the likes of Matias Vecino and Radja Nainggolan and Christian Eriksen.
Former Inter president Massimo Moratti confirmed on Monday the ex-Tottenham star could be on his way out of Inter in the near future.
