Andrea Ranocchia acknowledges beating Real Madrid in the Champions League next week ‘will be fundamental’ for Inter.

The Nerazzurri have only two points in their Champions League group, behind Real Madrid and Shakhtar Donetsk on four, while Borussia Monchengladbach have five.

“We started the season well, now we want to get back on track and rediscover winning ways against Torino this weekend,” the defender told Inter TV.

“Winning against Real Madrid will be fundamental to continue our European journey.”
