Marco Parolo believes Lazio showed their ‘mentality’ and ability to adapt to difficult circumstances in the 2-0 victory away to Crotone.
There were doubts this game would go ahead, as there was torrential rain and flooding in the city this morning.
“The conditions were somewhat uncertain, but we came here to win, to play the game, and we showed from the first minute that the mentality of the team is strong,” Parolo told Sky Sport Italia.
“The whole team was ready to step up and play, to adapt in the circumstances, and everyone maintained the identity of the side.”
There had been reports this week that Luis Alberto would be dropped as punishment for criticising Lazio’s new plane.
“When we are at the Formello training ground, we isolate ourselves from everything outside. We are focused only on being ready when the coach calls us up and what happens outside is of no interest.”
