Probable line-ups: Liverpool-Atalanta

Atalanta could start with Luis Muriel and Duvan Zapata up front against Liverpool and Pierluigi Gollini prepares for his first Champions League match this term.

The match kicks off at 20.00 UK time and you can follow the build-up on the Liveblog HERE.

Coach Gian Piero Gasperini has been able to bring Berat Djimsiti, Hans Hateboer and Muriel, who had not even been called up for the match against Spezia.

They will be available at Anfield and the Nerazzurri coach could start all three, as Muriel seems set to start over Josip Ilicic.

Mario Pasalic stayed in Bergamo with Mattia Caldara and Fabio Depaoli, and Papu Gomez should start in the support role behind the two Colombian strikers.

Rafael Toloi, Cristian Romero and Djimsiti are expected in the back-three, with Hateboer and Robin Gosens on the wings.

Marten De Roon and Remo Freuler seem set to be given the go ahead in the middle of the park against Liverpool.

The Reds won 5-0 at the Gewiss Stadium earlier this month and Jurgen Klopp’s men aim to secure a place in the last 16 with a win on Merseyside.

But Liverpool have an emergency in defence, having lost Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez, Andy Robertson and Trent Alexander-Arnold to injuries in recent weeks.

Mohamed Salah has recovered from COVID-19 and will be available, but Xherdan Shaqiri, Sadio Mané and Diogo Jota are expected in the attacking trident, to give Roberto Firmino rest too.

The German coach will have to start with Rhys Williams, Nathaniel Phillips, Joel Matip and Kostas Tsimikas in the back four at Anfield tonight.

Liverpool (probable): Alisson; Williams, Phillips, Matip, Tsimikas; Fabinho, Henderson, Wijnaldum; Shaqiri, Diogo Jota, Mané

Atalanta (probable): Gollini; Toloi, Romero, Djimsiti; Hateboer, De Roon, Freuler, Gosens; Gomez; Muriel, Zapata
