Media watch: Super Immobile and Correa

Ciro Immobile was the MVP of Lazio-Zenit, as the Biancocelesti star netted a brace to secure a key win against the Russians in Champions League.

The 2020 Golden Shoe winner scored the opener after only three minutes, before Marco Parolo doubled Lazio’s lead 19 minutes later. Artem Dzyuba’s goal shook the hosts, who restored their double lead with Immobile’s goal from a spot kick in the second half.

The Biancocelesti are now enjoying a four-point lead over third-placed Club Brugge after four games in Group F and are closing in on the last-16.

Joaquin Correa is also praised with high ratings in the Italian sport papers.

As Il Corriere dello Sport wirtes: “He had no more opponents to dribble at the end of the game.”
