Riccardo Sottil scored deep into stoppages to give Cagliari the 2-1 victory over Hellas Verona, so they’ll face Atalanta next in the Coppa Italia.

His replacement, Alberto Cerri, opened the scoring when Sottil burst down the right and somehow kept the ball in to provide a perfect assist.

Verona were furious on 62 minutes when Eddie Salcedo had a goal controversially disallowed for a push on Cerri.
