Cagliari General Director Mario Passetti has admitted the Sardinians can’t sign Radja Nainggolan in the January transfer window.
“We tried to sign him last summer but we could not manage to wrap up the deal,” the Sardinians’ director told DAZN ahead of Cagliari-Inter.
“We brought in important players but we are facing a tough moment now,” he added.

“There is uncertainty about what can happen in the future, stadiums are closed and I don’t think it’s fair to speak about the potential signing of a world-class star like Radja Nainggolan.
“We tried in the summer and, right now, we have several players who are out of action due to COVID. We can’t think about important investments.”
