Inter completed a spectacular comeback to beat Cagliari 3-1 in Sardinia, but it was only Alessio Cragno that stopped them taking the lead earlier.

The goalkeeper performed heroics with a series of first half saves and the hosts then went in front through Riccardo Sottil’s impressive volley.

However, it was Cagliari native Nicolò Barella who got Inter back into it with another excellent volley from the edge of the area.

Danilo D’Ambrosio was only on the field for a minute after Achraf Hakimi’s injury when he got his head to a corner for 2-1.

Cragno came up for a Cagliari corner in stoppages, but was caught the wrong end of the pitch by Romelu Lukaku.
