Lotito, however, doesn’t want to risk waiting until February and March, when the Champions League returns.

The newspaper reveals the two parties will meet again in 10 days but that there’s an economic gap that needs to be closed.

Both parties seem eager to continue together and should reach an agreement eventually.

Inzaghi has picked up the Coppa Italia and Supercoppa Italiana during his time at the helm of the Aquile.

He also brought them back to the Champions League and into the knockout stages for the first time in 20 years this term.
