The 24-year-old has scored seven goals in in 10 Serie A appearances so far this season, attracting the interest of several Premier League clubs, including West Ham.

According to Il Corriere dello Sport, the Hammers have already made contact with Spezia asking information about the transfer availability of the French striker who joined the newly promoted Serie A side as a free agent from Trapani this past October.

The Rome-based paper claims Spezia are not willing to sell Nzola and are preparing an offer to extend his stay at the club.

The contract of the 24-year-old expires in 2023, but his encouraging start to the season has convinced the Aquilotti to consider a contract extension offer.
