Milan forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic has responded well to the treatment and the Swede should return against Cagliari on January 18.
The veteran returned to Milanello yesterday and carried out a medical examination to assess the recovery period for his calf injury.
Ibrahimovic has, according to Tuttosport, received good news from the check and could be back in time for the Serie A match against the Rossoblu.
The report reveals he could return for the Coppa Italia game against Torino six days earlier, barring any setbacks.
The centre-forward has been out since the 3-1 win against Napoli in November, when he scored a brace against Gennaro Gattuso’s men.
