Di Canio believes

“These things happen on the pitch, nobody is at fault,” Di Canio told Sky Sport Italia. “We can’t be following social media or those papers or journalists who usually say all sort of things.

“Some of them even support their team while they are writing and wish you death. They are the ones who want to explain what should happen on a football pitch.

“It may not be an Oxfordesque behaviour, it may not be good behaviour, but it’s a dispute, they don’t know what it means.”
