Inter fans have gathered in their hundreds outside San Siro to cheer Inter on ahead of the Coppa Italia semi-final with Juventus, including a message for Romelu Lukaku.

It kicks off at 19.45 GMT and is the first leg of the two-legged fixture, with the decider in Turin on February 9.

Lockdown measures in the Lombardy region have been eased over the last few days, but some of the ultras present were not even wearing masks.

Lukaku is suspended for the first leg, because of an accumulation of yellow cards in the competition.

Nonetheless, the fans put up a huge banner on the gates specifically for the Belgium international, referencing his row with Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

“Head high, chest puffed out… Romelu, we’re proud of you!!!”
