Nicolò Barella once again proved to be the best Italian midfielder right now, while Fiorentina’s display was poor and it’s no coincidence Bartłomiej Drągowski was the best player for La Viola. Check out Football Italia’s ratings from the Artemio Franchi.

Fiorentina
Dragowski 7 – Fiorentina must thank him that they only conceded two goals. The save on Barella is one of the best of the season.

Fiorentina
Dragowski 7 – Fiorentina must thank him that they only conceded two goals. The save on Barella is one of the best of the season.

Martinez Quarta 6 – Build the play up from the back. Had some quality moments at the back, like when he deflected Lukaku’s shot that could turn into Inter’s third.

Pezzella 6 – He somehow controlled Lukaku.

Igor 4 – Unable to stop Hakimi when the former Borussia Dortmund star delivered the assist for Inter’s second goal. The second half was a disaster.

Venuti 5 – Decent first half, but his passes could have been sharper. Perisic hammered him in the second half. (Malcuit 73 N/A)

Bonaventura 6 – Probably Fiorentina’s best player on the pitch. Came close to scoring the equaliser in the first half.

Borja Valero 5 – Too slow and his passes were short. He didn't create a single chance. (Kouame 46 5 – Speed and little else.)

Amrabat 4.5 – Was quite good on the ball, but found himself able to consistently impress defensively. Picked up a yellow card that will force him to miss the next match.

Biraghi 4.5 – Forced Handanovic into a great save with his foot, caught  out of position too many times in the second half.

Eysseric 4.5 – Had a promising start, but it didn’t last long. (Pulgar 73 N/A)

Vlahovic 5 – Fought hard, but wasn’t much involved. (Kokorin 73 N/A)

Inter
Handanovic 6.5 – Put the bad Juventus game behind him with two decisive saves on Bonaventura and Biraghi.

Skriniar 6.5 – Dominant in the air.

De Vrij 6.5 – Nullified Vlahovic, but it was difficult for the Fiorentina striker to create something with a lack of service from his teammates.

Bastoni 7 -Usual work rate from the former Parma defender who was brilliant with and without the ball.

Hakimi 7 – Quiet first half, but the second half begun with a sprint and a perfect assist for Perisic. Absolutely devastating in open spaces.

Barella 7.5 – Missed the first chance of the evening, but scored an absolute screamer to put Inter ahead after 30 minutes in the first half. Easily the best Italian midfielder right now. MOTM

Brozovic 6.5 -Solid performance, his passing was on point and he shielded the ball very well.

Vidal 6 – The usual fighter in the middle of the park, not quite accurate with the final ball (Gagliardini 46 6.5 -Impressive defensively.)

Perisic 7 – Made up for a bad display in the first half making the most of a Hakimi assist to score Inter’s second goal. Created several opportunities in the second half when he had more space. Left the pitch injured (Darmian 80 N/A)

Lukaku 6.5 – Had a goal ruled out for an off-side, Martinez Quarta deflected a shot that would have gone into the net. (Pinamonti 89 N/A)

Sanchez 6 – Off the pace at times, struggled to find a way through. (Lautaro 61 – 6 More proactive than Sanchez, but created no goal scoring opportunities either.)
