Atalanta and Torino have both been in their fair share of thrillers this season, so perhaps it shouldn’t have been a surprise to see a comeback from 3-0 down with both sides also hitting the woodwork.

La Dea seemed to have it all under control after going 3-0 up within 21 minutes, as Josip Ilicic thanked VAR for realising he wasn’t offside, then Robin Gosens came sliding in at a different back post to usual and Luis Muriel finished off the Ilicic assist.

However, Toro have been transformed under new coach Davide Nicola and are no longer the team that throw away leads.

Instead, they completed their third consecutive comeback for another draw, getting it back to 3-2 before half-time with an Andrea Belotti rebound on his saved penalty and Bremer bundling in from a chaotic corner.

Both teams clipped the woodwork in the second half, until Federico Bonazzoli’s late header completed the comeback for 3-3.
