Bonucci 7 – Formed the same old reliable defensive partnership with Chiellini and got the job done against Dzeko and Borja Mayoral (De Ligt 84 N/A)
Chiellini 8 – Another authoritative display, he imposed himself on Borja Mayoral. MOTM
Alex Sandro 7 – In constant motion up and down the left flank. Wasn't caught out positionally (Demiral 85 N/A)
McKennie 6 – Ran a lot, but his deliveries were quite sloppy. (Cuadrado 65 7 – Left out of the starting XI because tiredness, came in the second half and was immediately decisive for Juventus’ second goal.)
Arthur 7.5 – Juventus’ deep-lying playmaker. The Brazilian kept the ball well, his mobility helped open up passing angles in the middle of the pitch.
Rabiot 7 -Shielded the ball very well, had a 100% pass accuracy.
Chiesa 6.5 – Had defensive duties, therefore he was not the usual threat on the flank. (Bernardeschi 81 N/A)
Morata 6.5 – The Spaniard created some opportunities and assisted Ronaldo for the Old Lady’s opener. (Kulusevski 65 7 – His pass would have been an assist for Cristiano Ronaldo if it wasn’t for Ibanez, but he achieved his target anyway.)
Ronaldo 7.5 -Scored the opener with a stunning left-foot effort from the edge of the box. Came close to scoring the second, but hit the crossbar. Simply lethal.
Roma
Pau Lopez 6 – Impossible for him to avoid Ronaldo’s opener. Denied the Portuguese shortly thereafter.
Mancini 5 – Had a good chance to score the equaliser in the first half, struggled at times against Ronaldo.
Ibanez 4 – Put the ball in his own net in the second half.
Kumbulla 5 – Juventus always managed to create problems for him through Ronaldo and Morata.
Karsdorp 5.5 – Got forward, but couldn’t find a way through.
Villar 6 – Good passing, but Roma’s possession was way too sterile. (Diawara 62 5 – Soft impact on the game.)
Cristante 5 – Turned by Alex Sandro who set up Juventus’ opener, didn’t win many tackles. (Carles Perez 62 5 – His attacking contribution was not enough.)
Veretout 5 – Failed to have an impact, not much in the way of quality.
Spinazzola 5.5 – Similar story to Karsdorp, he was proactive, but somehow it was not enough. Too tired to track back when Cuadrado came off the bench.
Mkhitaryan 5.5 – Showed glimpses of quality, but the former Arsenal and Manchester United man had no real opportunities.
