Sources have told Football Italia the Brazilian will sit out Juventus’ away clash at Napoli on Saturday and could miss the first leg of the Champions League last 16 stage against Porto next week.
Leonardo Bonucci and Paulo Dybala are also going to be sit on the sidelines next weekend against Napoli, but are expected to be available in Champions League.
Dybala suffered a knee injury against Sassuolo on January 10, while Bonucci picked up a slight muscle injury against Roma this past Saturday and was rested against Inter in Coppa Italia on Tuesday.
Giorgio Chiellini and Matthijs de Ligt will start together for the first time at the Stadio Maradona on Saturday.
