Lautaro Martinez and Romelu Lukaku helped the Nerazzurri to a 3-0 win against Milan at San Siro on Sunday and the former players were quick to praise the coach.

Cordoba, who spent 12 years at Inter between 2000 and 2012, has been impressed by how Conte has done well to keep the players focused on the target in a difficult time for the Beneamata.

“Antonio Conte and his staff have done a very careful job,” Cordoba told Perform Stats News. “It’s not easy to keep a team so united when there are certain rumours.

“You don’t always manage to have a team this concentrated in such a particular moment.

“There’s a very specific project that aims to win this year.”

Bergomi added that ‘the strength’ of Inter is how Conte has managed to ‘recover everyone’.

“[Marcelo] Brozovic is the strongest midfielder of Inter in terms of importance,” he told Sky Sport Italia. “He did not spread his arms, he was concentrated.

“Conte has recovered everyone and this is the strength of the team."
