Roberto D’Aversa says he sees the same 'certain enthusiasm' at Spezia as he did when his Parma were promoted to Serie A. ‘They are doing a bit like we did'.

The Ducali have struggled this year and D’Aversa returned to the Ennio Tardini when Fabio Liverani was sacked in January.

This weekend Parma face Spezia at the Alberto Picco and the D’Aversa, who brought the Crociati from Serie C to Serie A, says the newly promoted side remind him of his team in the first campaign back in the top flight.

“Spezia and Benevento are doing a bit like we did in the first year,” D’Aversa said at a press conference.

“If we analyse the match against Milan, they dominated the game. They have a good and prepared coach.

“When things go well, they approach the matches with a certain enthusiasm, while when they go bad, it’s as if they expected something negative.

“Instead, we must search for the positive things.”
