Milan midfielder Sandro Tonali will reportedly be available for the match against Hellas Verona on Sunday.
The former Brescia midfielder was replaced by Soualiho Meite at half-time in the 1-1 draw with Udinese on Wednesday and Stefano Pioli confirmed it was a precaution after the match.
“Tonali came out as a precaution,” Pioli told DAZN after the match. “He felt a slight problem in the flexor.”
Sky Sport Italia reports the substitution has limited the damage and Tonali should therefore be available for the match at the Bentegodi this weekend.
The 20-year-old has played 30 competitive games this term but has yet to score his first goal for the Diavolo.
