The Giallorossi lodged an appeal after they were handed a 3-0 defeat by default in Serie A MD1 away at Verona.
The match ended 0-0 but the Capitolines irregularly fielded Amadou Diawara.
The midfielder had turned 23 in July, so he was no longer eligible for the Under-22 list he had been on last season.

The FIGC Court of Appeal had rejected Roma's first appeal in November, but the Giallorossi hoped the CONI Collegio di Garanzia could overturn the decision as they did with Juventus–Napoli in December.

The Collegio Di Garanzia rejected the Giallorossi’s appeal, which means Roma remain sixth with 50 points, while Hellas Verona sit ninth with 38.
