The first leg in Manchester finished 1-1 last week.

"We must always improve. We did positive things in the first leg, but we must keep improving," Kjaer said at a press conference.

"We have done so much that we no longer need to talk about our group as a young one.

"The road to get here was long. There were positive steps and some difficult moments," he continued.

"Qualifying for the next stage would be great, tomorrow's game is like a final, but we must remember we would achieve nothing if we qualify."

Edinson Cavani missed the first leg in Manchester but is eligible to play tomorrow.

"We know we are facing a team with great quality. I know Cavani well, having played with him at Palermo," Kjaer said.

"His career speaks for him. We'll need to have the same attention as the first leg. We respect Manchester United, but we'll play our game."

How much Zlatan Ibrahimovic's return means to the team?

"He always gives something more to the team, on and off the pitch. I am not the coach. I can't say if he will play tomorrow. Indeed, his presence is significant for us."

Does he like playing along with Fikayo Tomori?

"I didn't know Tomori [before he joined Milan], but his mentality is impressive. He is a fast and aggressive defender. It's rare to see these qualities in Italy. He is young and with great qualities."

Christian Eriksen has recently thanked Kjaer for helping him settle in Italy, but added the Rossoneri defender plays in the 'wrong team.'

"I didn't hear what he said, but if he said something bad about me, he was joking. If he said something nice, I would thank him."
