Il Corriere dello Sport reports seven players who haven’t tested positive for COVID-19 were in the team bus with the two players last Sunday.

D’Ambrosio had the first symptoms on Sunday morning and Handanovic has since tested positive too.

The players who have avoided the coronavirus so far – Stefan de Vrij, Achraf Hakimi, Nicolò Barella, Christian Eriksen, Ivan Perisic, Lautaro Martinez and Romelu Lukaku – were all in the team bus with the two positive players on Sunday.

The newspaper reports the alarming news from Pinetina, where the Nerazzurri fear an outbreak could affect the run-in.

Handanovic should only skip the one game before the international break next week and then be back against Bologna.

Antonio Conte’s men sit first in Serie A with a nine-point gap down to Milan at second, and reigning champions Juventus are 10 points behind with one game in hand.
