Parma midfielder Wylan Cyprien is out for the next three months after undergoing surgery today.
A statement from the club confirms Cyprien was in Lyon and underwent “a left adductor tenotomy.
“The player will be discharged tomorrow and subsequently begin treatment. He is expected to be out of competitive action for three months.”
Parma are beset by injury woes, as Joshua Zirkzee on loan from Bayern Munich has also probably played his final game of the season.
Hernani, Simone Iacoponi, Roberto Inglese, Yann Karamoh and Valentin Mihaila all worked separately from the rest of the team ahead of this weekend’s huge relegation dogfight with Cagliari.
