Walter Mazzarri is delighted with qualification for the Coppa Italia Final, but he’s warned that his Napoli side are running out of fuel.

The Azzurri overturned a 2-1 first leg deficit against Siena with a 2-0 victory on Wednesday, thus booking their place in the May 20 finale against Juventus.

Boss Mazzarri, however, found it difficult to be totally happy after another gruelling 90 minutes at the Stadio San Paolo.

“I’m happy that we are in the Final, but I’m worried about the rest of the season,” he stated.

“The team is tired and that was evident. Siena were moving twice as fast as us in the second half. And we’ve probably lost Christian Maggio for an important amount of time to injury too.”

Napoli have had a busy season trying to balance their domestic commitments with the Champions League – a tournament they exited to Chelsea last week.

“We would have certainly dropped more points in Serie A if we were still in the Champions League,” he continued.

“Now we need a miracle against Catania and then we’ll have a full week to prepare for games after that.”

Nevertheless, Napoli and Mazzarri now have a chance to lift a trophy this season with the Italian Cup up for grabs.

“I lost a Final with Sampdoria on penalties, it will be nice to be back,” the tactician continued.

“To reach a Final is important for a team and a Coach. The game itself will end up as it ends up, but we are content to be a part of it.”

Doria reached the 2008-09 Final when they were defeated on spot-kicks by Lazio.
