Zenit’s Alessandro Rosina reveals he’s ready to return to Italy with Siena after “Torino turned me down.”

The trequartista was once one of the rising stars of Italian football and a hero to Torino fans, but went to Russia in order to further his career in 2009.

There was a brief return to Serie A on loan to Cesena, but now he is looking for a more permanent solution.

“It would be wonderful for me to come back to Torino, though evidently less so for them,” he told TMW.

“We had a few phone calls with the Torino directors. I always had a good rapport with the President, but perhaps the director and Coach have different ideas. I respect their point of view.”

Instead, Siena are expected to give 28-year-old ‘Rosinaldo’ another chance to make his mark in Serie A.
