Line-ups: Catania-Lazio

Lazio must face a fiery Catania atmosphere without Miroslav Klose, so Tommaso Rocchi takes on the responsibility.

The Elefantini fans are planning a ‘pañolada’ to protest refereeing decisions, particularly after their controversial home defeat to Juventus a week ago.

Gonzalo Bergessio is back to partner Alejandro Gomez in attack, though the usual absentees are Keko, Terracciano, Blazej Augustyn and Fabio Sciacca.

Vladimir Petkovic’s men have hit problems recently with defeat to Fiorentina and draws with both Panathinaikos and Torino.

They must do without top scorer Klose in Sicily this afternoon, as he sits out a ban, while Ederson and Federico Marchetti are still sidelined.

Veteran Rocchi is the man chosen to replace the German international and there’s good news from the return of Hernanes and Cristian Ledesma from suspension.

Senad Lulic has also shaken off an injury to start in a more advanced role, resting Alvaro Gonzalez.

Catania: Andujar; Alvarez, Legrottaglie, Spolli, Marchese; Izco, Lodi, Almiron; Barrientos, Bergessio, Gomez.

Lazio: Bizzarri; Konko, Biava, Dias, Cavanda; Ledesma; Candreva, Hernanes, Mauri, Lulic; Rocchi
