Pioli sees Bologna progress

Stefano Pioli was content in seeing his side extend their unbeaten run to three games in drawing with Lazio on Monday night.

The Rossoblu held Vladimir Petkovic’s side to a goalless draw to make it three games in League and Cup without defeat.

The struggling Felsinei have lost just one of their last five in all competitions and for Pioli, the signs are there that the team can pull further away from the relegation zone.

“We contained Lazio well, in the second half we then did better ourselves, and with a little luck we deserved a goal,” commented the Coach after the game.

“Continuity of our performances? It is a long course, complicated, but I can say that we are a team and we have shown in the last month with some big performances.

“We must continue like this on Sunday in Naples in what will be a very difficult game.”
