Robert Lewandowski made history when bagging all four goals as Borussia Dortmund thrashed Real Madrid 4-1 in the Champions League semi-final.
Lewandowski took just eight minutes to break the deadlock on Mario Goetze’s cross, then was twice in quick succession much more alert than the Madrid defenders to a loose ball in the box.
Real had got one back before half-time when Cristiano Ronaldo rolled in following a Mats Hummels howler of a backpass.
Lewandowski netted a fourth on the night from the penalty spot, becoming the first player ever to put four goals past Real Madrid in a single Champions League game.
With Bayern Munich hammering Barcelona 4-0 last night, there could be an all-German Champions League Final at Wembley.
