On from seeing a move to the Bianconeri and then to Arsenal fall through over Madrid’s reported asking price, though, Napoli have confirmed this week that they are in talks for the 25-year-old.
AS report that the Partenopei may now face competition from Chelsea, who it is believed have made in initial enquiry to Los Blancos over his valuation.
Apparently being quoted €40m, The Blues have seemingly also made contact with the player’s representatives, with AS quoting a source from Higuain’s camp as saying ‘[Chelsea manager Jose] Mourinho wants him there’.
