“We have analysed the mistakes that we made over the last few games that prompted us to concede late on. We hope that we have been able to correct them,” said the Coach in his Press conference.

“There are many absentees, so we are in an emergency situation, but this is a positive and competitive squad so I am convinced we can put in a good performance.

“The way we set out will also depend on Inter. They are a typical Walter Mazzarri side, becoming dangerous when running into space. It is evident their Coach has quality and he brought a good work ethic to Inter.

“I am certain they will be able to spend this season near the top of the table. We know what it takes in order to be competitive and this year I will admit I’m having more fun than usual, because all the players are eager to work hard.”

Torino have Paulo Vitor Barreto and Alessandro Gazzi back after their bans expired in the betting scandal.

However, Kamil Glik is suspended, joining the injured Marcelo Larrondo, Migjen Basha, Omar El Kaddouri, Guillermo Rodriguez and Cesare Bovo.

Torino squad for Inter: Berni, Gomis, Padelli; D’Ambrosio, Darmian, Maksimovic, Masiello, Moretti, Pasquale, Scaglia; Bellomo, Brighi, Farnerud, Gazzi, Vives; Barreto, Cerci, Immobile, Meggiorini
