Line-ups: Fiorentina-Inter

Fourth-placed Fiorentina host Inter in tonight’s head-to-head for a place in Europe.

It kicks off at 19.45 GMT, click here for a match preview.

The Viola have the upper hand, as they are on home turf and sit in fourth place, eight points in front of Walter Mazzarri’s side.

However, Vincenzo Montella is also forced into changes and has to deal with fatigue.

On Tuesday Fiorentina beat Udinese 2-0 to reach the Coppa Italia Final, while on Thursday they will play in the Europa League.

Borja Valero is suspended in midfield, joined by the injured Massimo Ambrosini, Giuseppe Rossi, Stefan Savic and Ante Rebic.

Mario Gomez is on the bench and could well make his comeback for the first time since undergoing knee ligament surgery in September.

Juan Cuadrado hopes to replicate his stunning Coppa goal tonight, playing alongside David Pizarro, Alberto Aquilani and Juan Manuel Vargas.

Josip Ilicic is the strike partner for Joaquin in a brand-new approach, as former Milan forward Alessandro Matri is rested.

Inter have lost their last five consecutive away games between Serie A and Coppa Italia, so are in dire need of a boost.

There was at least some encouragement at the weekend when they squeezed past Sassuolo 1-0 for their first competitive victory of 2014.

Ricky Alvarez is still sidelined, though Esteban Cambiasso is available again in midfield.

However, it is ex-Fiorentina man Zdravko Kuzmanovic who starts in his old hunting ground.

Hernanes pulls the midfield strings again behind Rodrigo Palacio and Diego Milito with Walter Samuel retaining his spot in central defence.

Fredy Guarin also starts after his aborted January move to Juventus.
