It’s reported Milan have agreed a two-year contract with Fernando Torres, who now must secure a Chelsea severance package.

The striker’s agents met with the Rossoneri this afternoon and Antonio Sanz told MilanNews.it “the meeting went well. Torres to Milan is a real possibility.”

Up until now the situation had been a loan with option to buy, but that appears to have changed.

According to several different sources, including Sky Sport Italia and La Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan have agreed a two-year contract with Torres.

He now needs to negotiate a severance package with Chelsea, terminating his contract with them by mutual consent.

The Spaniard’s current deal expires with Chelsea in June 2016.

This is why the agents are flying back to London for negotiations with the Stamford Bridge club.
