Mario Balotelli, Alessio Cerci, Roberto Soriano, Stephan El Shaarawy, Emiliano Moretti and Andrea Bertolacci are new names for Croatia.
Italy will face Croatia in a Euro 2016 qualifier on November 16 at San Siro in Milan.
They then host Gianni De Biasi’s Albania side in an international friendly on November 18 at Marassi in Genoa, but that will be an extra squad announced during the week.
Antonio Conte has been in the stands for several Sampdoria games recently and was impressed by their climb to third place, including last night’s 2-2 draw with Milan.
However, he has not called Manolo Gabbiadini and Stefano Okaka, instead bringing in Roberto Soriano from the Blucerchiati squad.
Andrea Pirlo and Lorenzo Insigne are out injured, so Liverpool forward Balotelli and Atletico Madrid’s Cerci get their first call-ups under Conte.
It’s a debut call for Torino defender Emiliano Moretti and Genoa midfielder Bertolacci.
