Marcelo Brozovic’s agent has distanced his client from speculation of a possible move to Inter this January.
Speculation this week was that the Nerazzurri and Milan were both contemplating moves for the midfielder and that they had reignited summer contacts with his agent this week.
“There has been no further contact with Inter for Marcelo,” representative Miroslav Bicanic has countered, though, to fcinternews.it.
“Yesterday I was in Milan for the game but I did not meet with anyone from the Nerazzurri.
“I am in Milan for two days but I can assure you that there is nothing new in the market.
“I don’t know what will happen in January, we are waiting for someone to call before discussing it. We do not know what Roberto Mancini thinks of him.
“At the moment it is difficult to say too much.
“Are Inter a preferred destination? For Marcelo it is important to play well, as he did on Sunday, and there is no thought of anything else.
“Without new contact from the Nerazzurri it is difficult to say much else.”
