Andrea Stramaccioni admits he will “always be tied to Inter,” but only wants Udinese victory at San Siro today.
It kicks off at 14.00 GMT, click here for a match preview.
“I don’t expect applause or jeers from the crowd. I will always be tied to Inter by my affection for the club and its fans, so a part of my heart will always be Nerazzurro, but now I am thinking only of Udinese,” he said in his Press conference.
“We had lost our characteristic of attacking the space and going on rapid counter-attacks. In that sense, the return of Muriel gives me more options with Di Natale, Thereau and Geijo.
“We started the season with one system, then had to change it due to the emergency situation down the left. The players do the work, a Coach just has to be intelligent enough to understand their characteristics and attitudes.
“We want to play better against Inter than we did a week ago with Milan,” said Strama of the 2-0 defeat here.
“I don’t want to give any clues on my line-up, as Inter do not need that advantage. It seems to me that under Roberto Mancini they are more focused on quality and possession with midfielders like Kovacic and Guarin.”
