Reports in Britain indicate Chelsea are ready to pay €35m for Fiorentina winger Juan Cuadrado.
Roma are believed to be close to sealing a deal to bring Mohamed Salah to Serie A from Stamford Bridge, with an initial loan deal likely to be followed up with a €15m permanent transfer in the summer.
The London Evening Standard believes that the English side are keen to replace Salah with Cuadrado, and have made an enquiry to Fiorentina.
The Colombian is believed to have a €35m release clause in the new contract he signed in October, and the newspaper reports that the Blues are ready to pay that.
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is believed to have been a fan of Cuadrado since he was on the bench at Real Madrid, and with almost half of the fee covered by the Salah sale, it’s believed a deal could be reached.
