The bankruptcy of Parma has had postive consquences for Cesena, as they will now get the Ducali’s half of Gregoire Defrel for free.

The French striker had been co-owned between the two clubs, a situation which had to be resolved by June 25.

The 24-year-old is being tracked by the likes of Everton, Fiorentina and West Bromwich Albion, and the Cavallucci Marini are now free to negotiate.

The bankruptcy of Parma will almost certainly mean that all co-ownerships revert to the club which owns the other 50 per cent, with Defrel the most high-profile of them.

Andrea Brighenti, Alessandro Favalli and Simone Palermo will now join Cremonese, Thomas Fabbri and Andrea Rossini will join Defrel at Cesena, while Novara will inherit Andrea Casarini and  Federico Davighi.

Caio Secco Gobbo will move to Crotone on a permanent basis, with Milos Malivojevic and Mattia Sandrini going to Vicenza, and Dembel Sall joining Bari.
