Napoli have reportedly agreed a deal with Empoli for defender Elseid Hysaj, believed to be worth around €5m.
The 21-year-old worked under Partenopei Coach Maurizio Sarri last season, and seems set to follow the tactician in swapping Tuscany for Campania.
Gianluca Di Marzio’s website reports Vesuviani sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli met with his Empoli counterpart Marcello Carli in Milan today.
The clubs are believed to have agreed on a fee of €5m plus bonuses for the Albanian international, who will sign a five-year contract with Napoli.
Hysaj joins Valdifiori, Pepe Reina and Allan in moving to San Paolo, as the club seeks to rebuild under Sarri.
