Italian reports claim Napoli and Leicester City have agreed a fee for Gokhan Inler, but the player turned the move down.
According to Sky Sport Italia, the two clubs sealed a deal worth €4m (£2.8m) for the Swiss international midfielder.
However, the player needs to give it the all-clear and RAI claim he has already rejected it.
Inler had been heavily linked with a move to Watford and turned that transfer down too.
Napoli paid €18m to take Inler from Udinese in the summer of 2011.
