Arezzo Coach Ezio Capuano threatened to throw players out of his squad after one of them recorded his locker room rant.

The bizarre situation unfolded in Lega Pro – Italy’s third division – over the last few days.

Capuano was furious after their midweek friendly defeat to local side Lucignano and one of the players – identity still unknown – recorded his rant, which made its way on to social media.

This included insults, some pretty creative swearing and threats to “skin you alive” and “rip out your insides” or "gut you" if they lost to Carrarese.

It turns out Arezzo did indeed lose 4-1 at Carrarese and Capuano’s Press conference afterwards continued along the same vein.

“The team was in the locker room, therefore whoever recorded the audio of me getting ****ed off against Lucignano is a scumbag.

“I hope his name emerges, because that way from Monday he will no longer be part of Arezzo. I cannot train players like this.

“If the recording had been made for the teammates to listen to and laugh about, I’d have understood it. If you send it out for the whole world to join in, then it’s cowardly.”

Capuano is not new to controversy for his outrageous language and was fined when using a homophobic slur to insult his own players following a defeat.

He later repeated the rant, but substituting the slur for the phrase “a bunch of little girls.”
