“I'm proud to be part of this club, that is among the most important in Italy and in Europe. I never imagined I'd leave, my ambition was always that of staying here.
“We'll fight with all our strength to reach an important objective. Fiorentina can fight for a result against everyone, even though there are some opponents who are valid and well-equipped.
“As for the Scudetto, I always said that we must fear none and respect all. We know what our qualities are and we'll shoot for it until the end, game after game, against everyone.
“Let's do our best in every competition, then we'll draw conclusions. I don't exclude any trophy from the outset, be it the Scudetto or the Europa League.”
