Davide Ballardini admits Palermo “got the wrong approach” in their Coppa Italia defeat to Alessandria.
The Sicilians were beaten 3-2 on home turf and eliminated by the Lega Pro club.
“I am profoundly sorry,” said the Coach. “We got completely the wrong approach.
“They were simply more motivated than we were. I do not feel betrayed by the players, as if we underestimate the opposition, elimination is on the cards.”
