The report says that Inter have set a limit of €3m per year for his salary and now want to know the intentions of the player.

January 10 could be an important date as a meeting has reportedly been set between the Serie A leaders and the Argentine’s agent Alejandro Mazzoni.

However, there is the suggestion that Mazzoni could arrive in Italy sooner and Corriere believes it wouldn’t be surprising if the agent arranged meetings with Juventus and even Milan as well.

However, the Nerazzurri are thought to be convinced that their upcoming head to head with Lavezzi’s representative will be the turning point.

Should this be the case, the club would then look to find favourable terms with PSG by making use of the good relationship between the two clubs and their Presidents.

Lavezzi’s contract expires in June, meaning he should be available for a cut-price transfer fee, and the Argentina international has scored twice in 15 league appearances this season.
