Reports suggest Stephan El Shaarawy’s move to Roma will be a €2m loan, with an option to buy for €13m.
The forward appears to be close to agreeing a move to the Giallorossi, having been frozen out by Monaco while on loan from Milan.
It was reported earlier that the Lupi would be obligated to buy the Italian international at the end of the season, but Gianluca Di Marzio’s website is now reporting that the clause will not be mandatory.
The initial loan is said to be worth €2m, with the capital club having the option of paying €13m to make the move permanent.
That figure is an increase on previously mooted arrangements, which suggested El Shaarawy would cost around €11m.
Milan Channel has confirmed that negotiations are underway between the two clubs.
