Adriano Galliani insists Milan have finished their January transfer activity. “People criticise, but I think we’re competitive.”

The CEO spoke to Rai Sport ahead of tonight’s Coppa Italia semi-final with Alessandria.

“We compliment Alessandria, who have had an extraordinary journey. We must be wary, as they played very well to get here.

“We could’ve had a few more points, but this is a united squad and the team is with the Coach, otherwise in difficult moments they would’ve given up.

“Some might criticise me, but I think Milan’s squad is competitive. In January we won’t bring anyone in, as we are well covered.

“I hope in Serie A that Milan can climb a few more positions, because sixth isn’t enough.”
