Alfredo Pedulla’s website reports that the Italian international has begun his medical this morning, and should officially become a Beneamata player this afternoon.

It was reported last night that Coach Roberto Mancini had pushed training back until the afternoon in order to get Eder integrated as soon as possible.

However, Samp President Massimo Ferrero refused to confirm the deal when arriving at the Lega Serie A for a meeting this morning.

“Eder to Inter? We’re talking, we’ll see,” the Blucerchiati patron told assembled media.

“Roberto Soriano will stay at Sampdoria. In football the power stays with the players, we Presidents don’t have any power.

“It’s the player who decides whether to come, go, or stay.”
